D9002 "THE KING'S OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY" backs down into Leeds Central during the early part of 1967. Leeds Central closed on the 29th April 1967 after which all services transferred to City station. The 1A71 was the 22:30 Edinburgh - King's Cross train which No.2 would have worked overnight prior to its trip to Yorkshire.
