On the late evening of the 24th April 1981, and with snow on the ground, 55010 (D9010) "KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERER" gets to grips with the freezing temperatures by providing copious amounts of steam heat for the 1S66 20:15 King's Cross - Edinburgh service at Doncaster. Note the missing nameplate on the bodyside.
