55010 (D9010) "THE KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERER" sits in front of the test house at Doncaster Works on the 4th March 1981. 55010 arrived on the 27th February with a defective scavenge blower on its No.2 power unit (419), 419 was replaced by 454 on the 2nd March and the loco is seen awaiting testing prior to release back into traffic which occurred on the 5th March.
