A busy scene at Retford on the 11th June 1965 sees two 64B Haymarket machines converging on each other. D9019, the only member of the class still un-named at that time, approaches with 1A21 10:15 Newcastle - King's Cross (due to pass Retford 12:42) as stable-mate D9013 "THE BLACK WATCH" leaves northbound with the 1N10 10:20 King's Cross - Bradford (due to stop Retford 12:46/50). D9019 was named "ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER" during September 1965.
