...55013 (D9013) "THE BLACK WATCH" is seen At Haymarket TMD on the 25th May 1980, now specially painted by York TMD, in preparation for its supposed appearance at the Rainhill Trial celebrations, 55013 is resplendent with silver fuel tanks and radiator panels, red buffer beam and white-walled tyres. Sadly for York depot's efforts the loco wasn't sent to Rainhill, 55015 (D9015) "TULYAR" of Finsbury Park TMD was sent instead...

...Another view of the loco sees it parked next to 55006 (D9006) "THE FIFE & FORFAR YEOMANRY", also a former Haymarket allocation. 55013 would later work south via the 1E42 23:15 Edinburgh - King's Cross, "The Night Scotsman" service.
