Having been released from Doncaster Works on the 14th June 1978, following Light repair, 55013 (D9013) "THE BLACK WATCH" arrives at Newcastle on the 29th of the same month with the 1S24 11:55 King's Cross - Aberdeen "The Aberdonian" service - note the freshly painted yellow ends.
