55013 (D9013) "THE BLACK WATCH" stands in front of the sheds at its former home depot, Haymarket TMD, on the 3rd July 1981. 55013 had arrived at Edinburgh via the 1S08 07:05 Newcastle - Edinburgh and would work off Haymarket later in the day in order to power the 1E39 22:25 Edinburgh - King's Cross. Another former Haymarket machine, 55019 (D9019) "ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER", can just be seen traversing the junction at the east end of the shed following fuelling and arrival from King's Cross with the 1S12 05:50 service for Aberdeen.
