Having been released from the stock of its last train (the 1E01 08:00 Edinburgh - King's Cross) 55015 (D9015) "TULYAR" edges out of King's Cross on 4th October 1977. 55015 would retire to either King's Cross Loco or Finsbury Park for maintenance prior to working the 1S67 17:00 King’s Cross - Edinburgh later in the day.
