Following arrival in the capital via a charter service from York 55016 (D9016) "GORDON HIGHLANDER" is seen at Finsbury Park for servicing on Saturday 21st March 1981. The locomotive would later power the 1S60 20:00 King's Cross - Aberdeen service to Edinburgh.
