55018 (D9018) "BALLYMOSS" departs Retford with 31411 within the consist of the 1L43 14:05 King's Cross - York on the 13th August 1981. Both locomotives were in operation, the reason for the class 31 being unknown, though it may well have being providing ETH (even during August!!).
