Surplus of Deltic power at Haymarket on 4th April 1981: 55018 (D9018) "BALLYMOSS" is seen after arriving in the Scottish capital via the 1S70 22:15 King's Cross - Aberdeen which it powered from Doncaster to Edinburgh (ex 55004) and would later work off for the 1E29 17:18 Edinburgh - Newcastle.
