On the 10th September 1979 55007 (D9007) "PINZA" suffered brake failure at milepost 7 on the approach to London King's Cross with the 1A28 16:30 ex-Hull and had to wait one hour for a loco to haul the stricken train to its destination. Rescue came in the form of 55019 (D9019) "ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER" the pair are seen shortly after arrival at King's Cross with 55013 (D9013) "THE BLACK WATCH" sharing the scene having arrived with the 1A31 18:11 ex-York.
