One of the most remarkable Deltic workings occurred on the 21st February 1979 when 55019 (D9019) "ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER" powered the 2M59 13:57 Peterborough - Leicester, due to the failure of the booked DMU. Here 55019 gets up a good head of steam as she awaits departure from Peterborough. 55019 would return to Peterborough on the 15:23 ex-Leicester.
