A superb portrait of 55019 (D9019) "ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER" as it arrives at York on the 29th May 1978 with the 1S16 08:00 service from King's Cross to Edinburgh. 55019 had been released from Doncaster Works on the 18th of the same month following a light repair and evidence of a paintwork 'touch up' can be seen - note the locomotive still retained its regimental crests.
