On Sunday 20th May 1962 D9020 "NIMBUS" makes the Doncaster stop with the 1E07 10:10 Bradford - King's Cross service. The locomotive is seen carrying small yellow warning panels, only D9020 and D9021 were delivered new from the makers at Vulcan Foundry with such embellishments.

Speculation still surrounds the dates when each loco had the small yellow warning panels painted and in most cases only photographic evidence provides the nearest date that can be assumed.
