D9020 "NIMBUS" moves the 1A14 09:00
King's Cross - Edinburgh
service through Cambridge on the 8th
September 1962.
With a derailment at Offord all ECML services were traversing the lines
between March and Cambridge.
D9020 was noted later in its journey as both 1A10 and 1A12 (at
Doncaster) and credited as some 87 minutes behind schedule, which leads to
the thoughts that this train and TRN was altered en-route.
