55021 (D9021) "ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDER" at Doncaster Works on the 2nd June 1976. The loco was undergoing Heavy General Repair, a repair scheme only given to five Deltics, and had arrived on works just over one week previously on the 22nd May. The extent of overhaul was such that it would not reappear from works until the 19th January 1977.
