55021 (D9021) "ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDER" prepares to depart Waverley with the 1Z19 09:15 "West Highlands Tour" to Oban on Sunday 23rd August 1981.
55021 had worked to Oban on the 2nd August also when the "West Highlands Tour" headboard was also carried, though on that occasion the ex "Silver Jubilee" headboard had still carried the cross of St. George (now seen painted out with rampant lion emblem)....
