One of the most unusual photos on the site is this of D9021 "ARGYLL & SUTHERLAND HIGHLANDER" as seen at Edinburgh Freightliner terminal on the 7th October 1968. It is seen in charge of the 3E45 King's Cross FLT - Edinburgh FLT "The Euro-Scot Freightliner" inaugural service complete with waiting camera crew. The Deltic obviously chosen as the most prestigious type of loco to advertise the service which was hardly synonymous with the class.
