HAROLD BIBBY" has the honour or rescuing stricken Deltic D9000 "ROYAL SCOTS GREY" with the 1A30 14:00 King's Cross - Edinburgh, "The Heart of Midlothian" service on Thursday 27th June 1963. The pair were removed at Grantham and A4 60010 "DOMINION OF CANADA" worked the delayed service forward. 60010 would also be removed from the stricken service at Newcastle with a heated bearing.
