Resplendent, for its work on the various farewell railtours, 55002 (D9002) "THE KING'S OWN YORKSHIRE LIGHT INFANTRY" passes Parkside, near Newton-le-Willows, with the 1M62 08:50 York - Liverpool service on the 29th October 1981. Two days later 55002 was the motive power for "The Celtic Deltic" railtour from King's Cross to Edinburgh.
