Substituting for a HST service 55004 (D9004) "QUEEN'S OWN HIGHLANDER" leaves Craigentinny with ECS for the 1E07 12:15 Edinburgh - King's Cross on 14th June 1981. 55004 worked the train as far as Newcastle where it was terminated - both loco and empty stock returning to Craigentinny.
