With 45117 looking on 55004 (D9004) "QUEENS OWN HIGHLANDER" is seen at York on the 26th May 1981. The locomotive had been present since the previous day due to loss of power and would work off on the 27th for the 1S27 07:22 Plymouth - Edinburgh service, however, loss of power would once again see the engine removed at Newcastle and returned to York for repairs.
