Having arrived at Doncaster Works on the 31st March 1977, for its final Intermediate overhaul, 55005 (D9005) "THE PRINCE OF WALES OWN REGIMENT OF YORKSHIRE" spent nearly seven months at the plant either awaiting attention or receiving it. The locomotive was released on the 21st October, however, had to return for rectification and is seen on Sunday 23rd October awaiting further attention. 55005 was released for a second time on Wednesday 26th October.
