55006 (D9006) "THE FIFE & FORFAR YEOMANRY" at Bradford Exchange on the 12th May 1979, this was the final Deltic hauled 1A30 17:30 Bradford - King's Cross service, the locomotive having arrived via the 1L09 12:45 ex-King's Cross. From the following day 55006 was transferred from Haymarket to York depot as the Deltics continued to lose their grip on the 'top-link' ECML services.
