An errant 55006 (D9006) "THE FIFE & FORFAR YEOMANRY" is hauled away from Newark by 47520 (oh the ignominy!) on the 31st March 1979 after failing with the 1L15 16:08 King’s Cross - York service. 47520 had assisted 55006 into Newark where the service was terminated. 55006 entered Doncaster Works four days later on the 3rd April for a power unit exchange.
