D9007 "PINZA" hauls the 1A20 11:00 King's Cross - Newcastle service up Gamston Bank, south of Retford, on Saturday 18th May 1968. D9007 was easily identifiable from January 1967, until the onset of ETH fitted locomotives in the early 1970's, as it was the only one to carry an ETH jumper box - this having been experimentally fitted at its General repair at Doncaster dated 01.12.66-12.01.67. The ETH box being carried whilst the locomotive retained green livery until September 1967.
