Following arrival at King's Cross with the 1E40 19:25 service from Aberdeen 55007 (D9007) "PINZA" waits for the stock to be cleared from platform No.5 on the morning of Saturday 28th November. 55007 worked the overnight service forward from Edinburgh and spent the rest of the Saturday at Finsbury Park TMD before returning north with the 1S60 20:00 King's Cross - Aberdeen that evening.
Two other members of the class 55010 (D9010) "KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERER" (far left) and 55008 (D9008) "THE GREEN HOWARDS" (centre) also reside at the terminus. 55010 had arrived working the 1E43 20:35 Aberdeen - King's Cross, whilst 55008 had powered the 1E42 23:15 ex Edinburgh.
