55007 (D9007) "PINZA" waits at Newark Northgate during the early part of 4th June 1980 with the 1D30 04:05 King's Cross - Doncaster service. Deltics were actually booked for this turn, however, more often than not were only used as a method of getting the locos to Doncaster for works attention. Six days later in fact 007 was in charge of the same turn again, working on one power unit only, en-route to Doncaster Works.
