55007 (D9007) "PINZA" heads the condemned, line up which includes 13 Deltics, on the 9th May 1982. Behind 55007 are 55004, 55022, 55016, 55005, 55017, 55013, 55011, 55008 and 55021. 55019, 55009, and 55015 are also visible in the distance, 55015 stands out as the only Deltic with white cab surrounds at the very rear, these three locomotives were waiting to begin new careers in preservation, whilst 55022 and 55016 were also to escape the cutter torch.
