55009 (D9009) "ALYCIDON" pilots 45073 into York during the early hours of 11th April 1981 with the 1E38 19:34 Bristol Temple Meads - Newcastle overnight sleeper service. 55009 had been added at Leeds and both locomotives were removed at York.
