D9009 "ALYCIDON" rests at the stops at King's Cross on the 15th May 1962 alongside former Top Link locomotive A4 Pacific 60014 "SILVER LINK". It is possible the Deltic has arrived via the 1A03 07:50 Newcastle - King's Cross service and the A4 via 1E04 07:42 Leeds - King's Cross.

JB Note: Timings makes it look tight for D9009's next move, the 1A30 13:00 King's Cross - Edinburgh, however, it is believed that loco worked only to Peterborough (North) returning to London on 1A37 at that time.
