The Worcester Locomotive Society organised the "Yorkshire Terrier" railtour from London Euston to Doncaster on Sunday 23rd November 1980, which ran via Birmingham and Manchester on the outward leg to Doncaster and gave patrons a visit to the locomotive works. The return leg ran via the ECML to Finsbury Park behind 55009 (D9009) "ALYCIDON" and is seen here preparing for the 17:30 departure at Doncaster complete with headboard.
