55009 (D9009) "ALYCIDON" disgraced itself on Sunday 30th March 1980 with the 1D04 17:05 King's Cross - Hull service. After failing at Peterborough 37095 was attached to take the train forward and the pair are seen at Doncaster prior to 37095 removing the ailing Deltic for attention at Doncaster TMD.
