7mm MODELLING

Super-detailing the Heljan 'O' gauge Deltic

Scratch-building KX Passenger Loco in 7mm (coming soon)

Martin Finney 7mm A3 kit building (coming soon)

With impending old age and the promise of at least one off-spring finally leaving home (thus providing an empty room in the house) the dream of a model room continues to loom tantalizingly ever closer. I'm sure my wife would prefer to call it the 'room for when grandchildren come to stay' though she's sadly miss-guided as it will be shelves and a table I'll be building in and nothing more! Already purchased for such a venture is a 7mm ('O' gauge) Heljan Deltic and a Martin Finney A3 kit - add to this I've been drawing and planning a small diorama for some time, which would include a representation of the iconic King's Cross Passenger Loco shed.
Having dabbled with 4mm (OO Gauge) models in the past the 'old age' remit now means fingers and eyes aren't up to their past capabilities and so it is the larger, or senior scale as it is other wise known, that I'm intending to give my time to as the time required for editing 'Chronicles' becomes less and less.
