King's Cross on the 30th May 1959: resting at the stops are EE type 4 No. D201 alongside "DELTIC", which has arrived via the 12:30 service from Hull, and class A3 60061 "PRETTY POLLY". This was the first day back in service for the prototype Deltic which had been out of use at Stratford with defective wheelsets since the 20th April.
