1963 Winter Diagrams

The December issue of Railway Magazine carried an article covering the 22 diagrams covered by the Deltic fleet - here is a brief summary:

The article mentioned there were 22 diagrams, 8 at King's Cross and Haymarket and 6 at Gateshead. It is unsure how Deltics in the works affected these cycles, maybe the timings were not out of the range of the Class 47's. There were about 50 in existence when these diagrams were set up providing plenty of backup. The diagrams had mileages attached to them:
