Main generators flashed over and No.3 traction motor interpole to earth - a new cab window was fitted to the driver's side at No.2 end, cab door runners were overhauled and No.2 boiler water tank was welded. Both main generators were cleaned out and both bogies had new brake blocks fitted. No.3 traction motor was replaced and the modification to the exhauster cut out valve was carried out.
