...Power unit 423 in store at Barrow Hill on the 11th September 2005.
423 was the final power unit to receive a classified repair at Doncaster Works, given a General Repair in May 1981, it was fitted to 55018 (D9018) "BALLYMOSS" until withdrawal in October of the same year - it saw final use in 55007 (D9007) "PINZA" until its withdrawal in December 1981.
