Power unit, most likely 427 (see close-up photo below), in No.4 bay Crimpsalls, Doncaster Works, on the 17th June 1979.

 


With 55010 (D9010) "THE KING'S OWN SCOTTISH BORDERER" expected on works with a time expired power unit (No.430), what is believed to be unit No.427, waits in the Crimpsall Erecting shops at Doncaster Works on Sunday 17th June 1979. 55010 arrived the following day and was released back to traffic on the 20th June.
