Scrap boilers at the rear of Doncaster Works on 12th February 1981. It is likely that the cleanest example is boiler 5088/J3239 removed from 55003 (D9003) "MELD" whilst the other is most likely the last to be fitted to either 55001 (D9001) "ST. PADDY" (5089/J3240) or 55020 (D9020) "NIMBUS" (5086/J3237).
