Derailment damage - the vacuum train pipe was damaged above the framing on the R/H/S, the left hand rail guard was broken and the right hand one bent on No.1 bogie 1045. Trailing sand pipes and water scoop nose were damaged and a buffer pod was missing from the right hand trailing end of No.2 bogie 1046, which also had a brake pin working out on the L/H/S middle wheel. All necessary repairs were carried out including the removal, welding and refitting of No.1 water tank.
